About the Founder

Hi I’m Danielle the face behind Latched at First Sight and a mother to three girls ages 7, almost 5 and our newest addition born February 2024 . I graduated in 2011 from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors in Science in Nursing and I’ve worked as a RN in cardiac, oncology and step down units . Since 2014 I have been working on the Mother Baby (Postpartum) floor at a local hospital and remain working there.

In 2021 I followed my dream and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and have been able to provide support to numerous families in their prenatal to postpartum journey’s.

After becoming a mother I realized and still feel parents need more support in this new chapter of life called parenthood.

I am passionate about supporting parents prenatally and postpartum by teaching the necessary skills to ensure optimal feeding, growth and bonding. I’m excited to continue helping families in having the best experience and love personalizing my teaching and support to both the parent and baby’s needs.

Aside from all this I drink way too much coffee, love chocolate, exercising and of course spending time with my family!

Always a judgement free zone!

“I believe breastfeeding and feeding support is needed prenatally to postpartum to help provide the foundation for a successful journey. Through my experience as a nurse, IBCLC, and mom I can provide that professional support that feels comfortable.”
